Now Styling: A Seed of Inspiration with Stripes

Now Styling: A Seed of Inspiration with Stripes

Stripes, especially the striped tee, can easily be related to French girl style and that ‘je ne sais quoi’ attitude. This consistently chic ‘it girl‘ way of dressing has serious staying power in the ever-changing world of fashion and has inspired Americans for decades. Is it because us on-lookers believe that Parisian women possess an inherent ability to create a life that is full of interesting characters, extraordinary food, thrilling adventures, and the ability to always say something clever in an I don’t take things too seriously kind of way? I think, maybe…

While everyone was in a hurry to make New Year resolutions for 2017 and to pinpoint exactly what they needed to do to become the best version of last year’s self, I simply decided to strive to be a more inspired individual. Maybe it was the tiny, gold letters that spell out the word ‘muse‘ (here) on this Zadig & Voltaire tee or it could have been the red and black stripes that evoked the imagined life of the French woman. Either way, I decided to make a conscious effort to let the beauty of the world be my inspiration this year. That said, I’m excited to turn the experiences gained through travel into my source of creativity and to share my stories with you all.

Below, you can see more of this thought-provoking ensemble, as well as some other striped tops that might just get you inspired too.
