Currently Coveting: Tularosa and Rebecca Taylor

I recently mixed together separates from two of my new favorite clothing brands that you wouldn’t necessarily think would go together. However, in this case, by combining contrasting pieces from a modern New York City designer and a laid-back Los Angeles label, I created a playful outfit full of on-trend detail. The vintage-inspired LA label Tularosa, is designed for the wild at heart, and quickly became my go-to for summer travel vibes. I picked up their crochet top with pom pom detail and free-spirted vibes (here) to wear with jean shorts during upcoming jaunts out East to the beach. But, something made me try this top on with a pair of floral, silk culottes (here) by Rebecca Taylor, whose emphasis is on signature print and sophisticated edge. I’m feeling the femme-forward look of all of her collections and am picking up pieces that will transition easily into my Fall wardrobe for the city. I knew I loved both brands separately, but am glad that I was able to bring them together in this one texture-rich, summer look.

Below you can see outfit details, as well as more of my selections from each brand.
