What to Wear: Valentine’s Day, 3 Ways

What to Wear: Valentine’s Day, 3 Ways

Well, it looks like we made it to February, folks. It was touch and go there for a frigid minute (ahem, Polar Vortex). However, we’ve entered the month dedicated to celebrating love and can now, hopefully, defrost our seasonally surpressed hearts.

In honor of adoration and appreciation, I’ve teamed up with one of my favorite designers for occasion wear to bring to you outfit solutions for any February fourteenth outings. From Galentine’s gatherings to fairytale-like evenings full of romance, below are three swoon-worthy garments from Jay Godfrey, which have been styled to wear while celebrating some of life’s sweetest moments.

No Pressure Plans

For those who are single and ready to mingle or maybe just not official (yet), a modern jumpsuit is a great option for a Valentine’s Day meet-up. It gives those “I’m, like, so totally chill” vibes, while also making sure that you strut in style.

A Galentine’s Date

Because the best dates are the ones that include eating an entire tub of popcorn without any judgement, we all love a Galentine’s Day movie marathon. For a day at the movies, nothing beats the ease of a wrap dress. With its no-fuss nature, you won’t miss a minute with your gals because getting ready ran long. Plus, you’ll be good-to-go shall there be a recap needed over cocktails afterwards.

An Evening of Romance

So you’ve nabbed a romantic partner, but are unsure of what to wear for that special date planned? For feeling glamorous, a red, floor-length gown is one that you can never go wrong with. There’s a unique power that a red gown poses: it can make everyone else in the room dissapear when gazed upon.

Whichever way you plan on celebrating this Valentine’s Day, I hope that it involves you feeling like the boss babe you are!

I love those 3 looks and all of the red! Red is my go-to color (well, besides black). Love those red sandals in the first (and last) photos!
