Every season I have what I call the weekend uniform, which is my go-to outfit when I don’t want to overthink getting dressed. It’s typically a simple yet stylish look that makes me feel good and is easy to run around the city in. This fall my weekend uniform has consisted of ribbed tops (mock top, here) and updated denim (cropped jeans, here). Yes, these pieces could be considered simple when alone. However, once you combine the form-fitting, ribbed detail of the top with the high-waist, cropped cut of the denim this look is instantly elevated to ‘it girl’ style.
I paired this clean look with the standard black leather knee boot (here) but you could add some flare with a metallic ankle bootie. As we approach the cold winter days, you can add a fur coat (an affordable option, here) or vest (here). This particular fur vest was an investment piece. Due to its warmth and versatility, I can safely say that its been worth every penny!
