Even if you have been hiding from the blazing heat by staying indoors this summer, it’s still pretty hard to miss the hottest trend in swimwear, as this throwback design has been a huge hit with the style stars from Instagram.
The high-waisted trouser trend – that we all know and now can’t live without – has shifted to swim for summer and has gained more popularity than ever. As I’m a fan of the figure-flattering cut, this moment in swimwear did not slip past me for one minute. For my last trip down to Miami Beach, I picked up several bikinis in this comeback style, while opting for those that also took the leg to new heights.
This stand-out style elongates the body and helps to slim the waist. During Miami Swim Week, the high-leg cut added a little extra sizzle to the sands of South Beach and the fashion flock down there were all on-board for the trend.
