I’ve found that the easiest way to breathe life into your wardrobe is with new shoes! Wearing a non-basic shoe is a simple yet stylish way to add a pop of color or a dash of daring design to any outfit. If you’re looking to make a splash without chasing fleeting trends, the classic red pump is your answer (pump, here).
Red, the ultimate power color, is one that will rev up a look for the office, a night on the town and even your weekend casual attire. Actually, I find the most exciting mix is with a pair of jeans, a comfortable top and light jacket. By adding red pumps to your outfit, you’ll empower the inner #girlboss and energize your look. So go for it! I’ve chosen a red pump that is classic, yet has that little something extra. The laser cut floral adds a modern touch to the pump and provides the perfect amount of femininity to offset this navy, military-inspired jacket, here.
Down at the bottom of the page, you’ll discover where my inspiration came from. You’ll also find a round-up of red pumps, as well as pieces of military-inspired outwear that I’m obsessing over.
Outfit details: Pumps, Reiss // Jeans, Rag & Bone// Hightop Sweater, c/o French Connection // Jacket, Tommy Hilfiger // Bag, Gucci // Sunglasses, Dior
Personal share: I was in the ROTC in high school and was sent to do many push-ups due to my uniform modifications. So, maybe this is where my inspiration for this outfit came from…
