Packing Now: Statement-Making Bell Sleeves

Packing Now: Statement-Making Bell Sleeves

The bell sleeve trend seems to be everywhere these days. However, it wasn’t until I started packing for a recent girls’ weekend trip to Chicago that I decided to give it a try. My girlfriend and I had planned to meet in a city where neither one of us lived to give us both a refreshing change of scenery. When I started to pack for this weekend gal pal adventure, I figured it was also time to add new life to my look and picked up this on-trend top (white bell sleeve tunic, here). I’m a big fan of minimalistic looks (especially when traveling because pieces can easily mix and match), so I paired the white tunic with a black crop pant (here), fun fringe heels (here), big sunnies (similar, here), and a red lip (here). This updated look would take me around the Gold Coast in Chicago, seamlessly transitioning from late afternoon shopping to evening drinks and dinner. While wearing this outfit, I felt chic and comfortable, as well as feminine and free. The bell sleeves provided a touch of excitement and I can now see why designers are not giving up on this silhouette anytime soon. Below, you can see more of this statement making bell sleeve tunic, along with a glimpse of our summer afternoon in Chicago. I’ve also included a round-up of bell sleeve tops that can provide a simple refresh to your current wardrobe.
