Back from Miami, back in New York City, back in all black. While escaping the concert jungle and getting out from underneath layers of heavy clothing was a lovely treat, there is still something comforting about wearing my favorite city clothing staples – all black layers. So, before my annual closet swap out and spring cleaning marathon that happens over Easter weekend, I took a few of my cold weather favorites out for one last spin. I often go to an inspiring venue to get some writing and wifi squatting done (I’m also a content and communications consultant). On this particular day, I chose the NoMo hotel restaurant as my oasis – mostly because it has enchanting chandeliers and nearby clothing stores for post-work shopping. So, I headed out to write in my coat (similar, here), black skinny pants (similar, here; more that are on sale below), boots (here – also on sale), and bag (similar, here).
