Slogan tees and tops have been steadily picking up steam, and you can expect to see a lot more of these wordy garments in 2017. A wide-range of designers are splashing around sayings such as “Love” and “We Should All Be Feminists.” However, one of my favorites slogans is by the emerging contemporary brand Socialitte, which asks the question “What Would Karl Do?” The brand’s luxury apparel pays tribute to the one and only Karl Lagerfeld and dares fashion lovers to act with the confidence of the legendary fashion icon.
Socialitte’s super soft sweatshirts and t-shirts can be dressed up or down (check out their IG page, here). I’ve been wearing my “WWKD” crewneck sweatshirt on repeat during weekend outings in New York City because the sponge fleece is so incredibly cozy and keeps me warm during our arctic-like wind flare-ups.
Another playful collection by Socialitte features a cartoon-like Karl and the slogan “Karl Who?” across their apparel for adults and children, as well as iPhone cases. They have the cutest baby romper with a mesh tutu, which makes me want to have a little girl just so I can dress her up in it!
