There’s no doubt that a pair of well-tailored trousers can make a gal feel #likeaboss. When you’re wearing an ego-boosting pair of pants, your confidence level can shatter the ceiling. That’s why these sleek, blue trousers with foulard print and black leather piping down the side (here) were a must-have for my workweek wardrobe. However, my Monday through Friday attire has historically been heavily concentrated in black, white and blue pieces.
So, as I recently found belts to be the answer for adding a pop of color or additional texture (plus waist-clenching style) to my after-hours wardrobe, I figured why not also mix these in during the workday? Well, it turns out that this werks! This burnt orange, wrap belt added that extra pop of energy that my 9-to-5 was missing. Plus, the seasonal suede gave the look a current feel. By adding this one simple accessory, my outfit looked more put together and I had extra pep in my step. So, when in doubt, belt it up!
Below, you can see more of this outfit, as well as a round-up of belts that cost under $100 (most under $50).
