As one of the many brands that have recently embraced the “see now-buy now” shift in presenting new collections, Indah Clothing debuted its MAGIC CARPET RIDE swimwear and resort collection during SWIMIAMI on Sunday, July 23rd, 2017, making 12 of the boho-chic pieces available for purchase the moment the models began to strut down the runway.
Indah, which captures the spirit of Indonesian beauty, featured sensuous, bohemian resort wear in bold patterns and bright colors. What caught my eye during the high-energy show were the flowing yellow and star print maxi dresses, along with several of the deep V plunging one-piece bathers.
Made by hand and created with love, Indah is known for its daring, sexy swimwear, and bohemian luxe ready-to-wear collections. Designer Libby DeSantis passionately portrays these feels saying, “This collection will allow you to find yourself in Ibiza in 1977 with a flower in your hair and a cocktail in your hand.” Drawing inspiration from both her home in Bali and her travels around the globe, DeSantis’s designs feature free spirited and exotic influences.
