I find the smart dress of the fashion-forward in London to be quite pleasing to the eye. The Brits capture trends in a seemingly more refined manner than us New Yorkers. It appears that a denim company out of Los Angeles also feels strongly about this particular set of stylish city-dwellers because they have branded their denim, clothing and accessories company as London-inspired. Mostly known for their jeans, Frame Denim has been making a not-so-silent rise to the top of the casual wear category. Earlier this month I became obsessed with a pair of their high-waisted cropped jeans (here) and am now forcing myself not to wear one of their silk, button-up blouses (here) every single day.
In this casual look, I paired these two pieces by Frame Denim together, while adding in a bit of Gucci with this belt (another mainstay in my weekly attire lately). And since you can’t be casually-cool without wearing a pair of slides these days, I slipped on these affordable, flat mules. This look has been one of my favorite fall styles captured thus far (having my photographer/friend’s new puppy (IG: murphythemini_) on site during the shoot also helped in making the process even more delightful!).
