Is it too early to start with the ‘April showers bring May flowers’ line? Since March has flown by and the view from my window is already covered in raindrops, I think not. Recently, I’ve started to spot the beginning signs of spring around the city and I’m not mad at about. You see, when our narrow pathways are once again lined with beautiful blooms this tiny island suddenly doesn’t seem so bad.
I’ve been telling myself that al fresco brunches and outdoor activities in new neighborhoods are just around the corner. These little reminders to myself have kept me going during my episodes of cabin fever. So in an effort to channel said-promises of sunnier days, I found the perfect floral skirt and bright white sweater to wear so that my optimism could be shared with all.
